Terms of Service — Country Crackle Candle

Welcome to Country Crackle Candle. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of [countrycrackle.com] (the "Site") and any purchase you make through it. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state, to place an order on this Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Products, Descriptions, and Pricing
We attempt to be as accurate as possible in our product descriptions, photos, and pricing. However:
- Every candle is hand-poured in small batches, so minor natural variations in color, appearance, or scent intensity between batches are normal and are not considered defects.
- We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing or product descriptions, and to cancel any order arising from such an error, even after an order has been submitted or confirmed.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. Product availability is not guaranteed and may change at any time.
3. Orders and Payment
By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase the product(s) in your cart. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent activity.
Payment is processed securely at the time of purchase through our payment processor. You represent that any payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted.
You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, which will be calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address.
4. Shipping
We currently ship within the United States only. Please see our Shipping Policy for estimated processing times, shipping methods, and delivery timeframes. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. Candle Safety and Proper Use
Your safety matters to us. By purchasing and using our products, you agree to the following:
- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always burn candles within sight and extinguish before leaving the room or going to sleep.
- Keep burning candles away from flammable materials, drafts, children, and pets.
- Trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch before each burn, and follow any care or usage instructions included with your order or posted on the Site.
- Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Country Crackle Candle is not responsible for injury, property damage, or other loss resulting from improper use, failure to follow care instructions, or failure to supervise a burning candle. Our products are intended for use as directed only.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including product photos, descriptions, graphics, logos, the Country Crackle Candle name and branding, and website design — is the property of Country Crackle Candle and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any of this content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
8. Reviews and User-Submitted Content
If you submit a review, testimonial, photo, or other content to us (through our Site, a reviews platform, social media, or directly), you grant Country Crackle Candle a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide right to use, reproduce, and display that content — including on our Site, in marketing materials, social media, and advertising — with attribution to you (such as your first name) unless you request otherwise. You agree that any content you submit is your own, truthful, and does not violate any third party's rights.
